What Nysh has live

The primary surface. Matches a described need (back, neck, cramps) to a product format most shoppers have never bought.

Guided matching for a catalog organised by body area and pack size rather than by anything a shopper would search for.

A live secondary channel for social discovery.

Live for order status and reorder.

Nysh makes self-heating body, hand and foot warmers under the WARMEE brand and pain-relief patches under BluHeat, using an air-activated exothermic reaction rather than electricity. Established in 2001 by a team of chemical engineers and operated by Pantheon PharmChem in Mumbai, the company runs its own manufacturing and R&D at Tarapur, unusual in a category where most brands outsource. Sold from nysh.in and through pharmacy channels, Nysh runs three conversational surfaces on YourLio AI.

01

Challenge: shoppers don't know the category, let alone the product

Nysh is the only brand documented here where Product Discovery outranks Product Info. That inversion is the whole story: most shoppers arriving on the site have never bought an air-activated warmer and do not know what it is, how long it lasts, or whether it is safe to use every day.

The recorded themes are exactly that shape: product matching by target area: back, neck and shoulders, cramps; heat duration expectations across pack sizes; daily-use safety confidence gaps; and WARMEE needing to be explained as a cold-weather, air-activated warmer in the first place.

The most common opening in the account was a generic one ("Help me find something in WARMEE") which is what a shopper types when the catalog vocabulary means nothing to them yet. The second was "How long does the heat last?"

And the recorded objections are unusually consistent: three of the four are about safety guidance the agent could not confirm. Whether a product is safe for daily use, how frequently it can be applied, and how many hours of heat to expect per format. Those are knowledge-base gaps, not model failures, and they are the highest-value thing to fix in this account.

What shoppers asked
  • Help me find something in WARMEE
  • How long does the heat last?, Body Warmer (pack of 5)
  • Which product suits my need?, Body Warmer (pack of 5)
Where they got stuck
  • Daily-use safety not confirmed, leaving shoppers without a decision
  • Uncertainty about how many hours of heat to expect per product format
  • Unclear guidance on how frequently a product can be applied
02

Solution: explain the category, then match the need

The Website Agent carries the explanation. Before a shopper can pick between a pack of five and a pack of ten, they need to understand what the product does and how long it lasts, so the agent teaches the category and then narrows.

AI Quiz and Discovery handles the shoppers who open with "help me find something". A catalog organised by body area and pack size is not browsable by someone who does not yet know which body area applies to their problem.

Instagram AI and WhatsApp AI are both live. Volumes on both are small in this window (the account is early) and the Website Agent carries the large majority of chats.

The honest finding: the agent's ceiling here is the knowledge base, not the model. Daily-use safety and heat-duration guidance are the two things shoppers asked for most and the two things the agent could least often confirm. Publishing that guidance is the single highest -leverage change available to this account.

03

Strategy: how Nysh runs it now

A small, early account with an unusually clean signal about what to fix.

Teach the category before selling the pack. 376 chats were Product Discovery, the only account here where discovery leads. A shopper who does not know what an air-activated warmer is cannot evaluate a pack of five against a pack of ten.

Publish the safety and duration guidance. Three of the four recorded objections are about daily-use safety and heat duration the agent could not confirm. That is a content gap with a clear owner and a clear fix, and it sits directly on the path to purchase.

Let the quiz carry a catalog nobody can browse. Body area plus pack size is not a structure a first-time buyer can navigate. Guided discovery converts a described problem (back pain, period cramps, cold hands) into a format recommendation.

Steal this playbook

  1. 01

When discovery outranks product info, you are selling a category, not a product

    Teach first, narrow second.

  2. 02

Your agent's ceiling is your knowledge base

Three of four blockers here were missing content, not bad answers.

  3. 03

Publish safety and duration guidance explicitly

In a body-contact category it is the question that stops the purchase.

  4. 04

A quiz beats navigation when the taxonomy is internal

Body area and pack size is how you think, not how the shopper thinks.

  5. 05

Small accounts give the cleanest signal

several hundred chats produced an unusually specific list of what to fix.

Questions about this deployment

By teaching it first. Nysh is the only brand documented here where Product Discovery outranks Product Info, 376 chats. Shoppers have to understand what an air-activated warmer is before they can choose a pack size.
