What RippedUp Nutrition has live
Storefront selling across a wide variant matrix of sizes and formats.
Nearly a third of all chats. Where creator-led discovery, serious buyer questions and sponsorship enquiries all land.
Goal-led matching (bulking, cutting, endurance) for shoppers who know the outcome they want but not the stack.
Bundle-ladder prompts on a catalog where basket size is built by explanation.
RippedUp Nutrition, known as RUN, makes whey isolate, mass gainers, pre-workout and performance supplements, sold largely in large-format tubs. The brand states 4.8 out of 5 from more than 25,000 reviews, batch lab testing and third-party certification on its core isolate line, manufactured out of Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Sold direct in India from rippedupnutrition.com with a separate US storefront, RUN runs its storefront and Instagram chats on YourLio AI.
Challenge: a high-consideration purchase decided in an Instagram DM at midnight
RUN's catalog is built on large formats, so a first-time buyer is being asked to make a significant commitment on their first order. There is no trial size to lower the stakes, which changes the nature of every question.
The recorded themes are exactly the questions a careful buyer asks: whey selection and beginner-friendly guidance, and fat loss versus muscle gain positioning. The most common openings were "How do I use this?", "How long till I see results?" and "Ingredients?", not price questions, competence questions.
The recorded objection is the sharpest signal in the account: bundle and discount questions get answered, but shoppers still frequently need help picking the right stack for their goal. Knowing the discount does not tell you what to buy. That is a discovery gap sitting directly on top of the basket.
And a third of it arrives socially. Instagram carried over 2,000 chats, where the audience is creator-content-led and the question comes in a DM outside business hours. "How to get RUN Sponsorship?" is among the five most-asked questions in the whole account: the creator inbox and the buyer inbox are the same inbox.
There are expectation risks too. The data flagged performance promises like "permanent glow" as a risk area, and restock uncertainty on specific flavours that the agent could not verify.

Solution: match the goal, then the stack, then the ladder
Instagram AI and the Website Agent run on shared memory, so a question asked in a DM at 11pm is still known when the shopper reaches the site the next day.
AI Quiz and Discovery carries the real problem. RUN's shoppers know their goal (lean muscle, cutting, bulking, endurance) and not the product. Goal-led matching answers the objection the data recorded most clearly: shoppers who understood the discount and still did not know what to buy.
The agent was trained on the full variant matrix (every size and format, protein per serving, and the certification status of each line) so it can hold a technical comparison across products that differ substantially in price.
The Nudge Engine works the bundle ladder. RUN runs a build-your-bundle discount and a buy-more-save-more structure; 828 chats were classified as Offer/Rewards, and those mechanics only lift basket size if the shopper can work out where they sit on the ladder.
Sponsorship enquiries are treated as their own question type rather than answered like a product question, a small change that keeps a creator chat from consuming a sales thread.
Strategy: how RUN runs it now
over 7,000 chats at a 90.53% resolution rate, with nearly a third of them arriving on Instagram.
Staff Instagram for high-consideration questions. 30.5% of chats. Sports nutrition marketing runs on creator content, and the DM is where a significant purchase gets interrogated, usually outside business hours, and usually on the least well-staffed surface a brand owns.
Answer the goal question, not the discount question. 828 chats asked about offers, and the recorded objection is that shoppers still could not pick a stack afterwards. Discount clarity and product clarity are different problems, and only the second one closes.
Give sponsorship enquiries their own path. "How to get RUN Sponsorship?" is a top-five question in the account. A creator asking about a partnership and a buyer comparing isolates need different answers, and both are arriving in the same Instagram inbox.

Steal this playbook
- 01
Staff Instagram for your most serious buyers
Nearly a third of chats, usually outside business hours, on the least-staffed surface.
- 02
Discount clarity is not product clarity
Shoppers understood the offer and still could not choose. Only the second problem closes a sale.
- 03
Use goal-led discovery for stacks
Buyers know the outcome they want, not the SKU.
- 04
Give sponsorship enquiries their own path
A top-five question deserves a real answer, not a redirect.
- 05
Publish restock status
Flavour availability was a recorded blocker the agent could not verify; that is a data gap, not a model gap.
