What Auravedic has live
The primary surface from day one. Concern-to-product matching across the kumkumadi and haircare ranges.
Knows the live promotion precisely and can generate real discount codes inside the chat.
A secondary channel for order status and reorder.
Offer-aware prompts on a catalog where the second item is the margin.
Auravedic makes plant-based ayurvedic skincare, led by its kumkumadi glow range and concern-led treatments for pigmentation, dark spots and dullness. Founded in Mumbai in 2012 and now part of SuperCluster Pi, the brand states more than 100,000 customers, over a million orders fulfilled, and delivery to 20+ countries. Sold from auravedic.com, Auravedic runs its storefront and WhatsApp chats on YourLio AI.
Challenge: an accessible price point where the second item is the business
Auravedic sits at the accessible end of ayurvedic skincare. That price point creates a specific problem: a single-item order is barely worth fulfilling, so the basket has to be built, and the customer arrives looking for one thing.
The chat data says so directly. The single most-repeated question in the entire account was "Are there any offers, discounts, or bundle deals available right now?", and offer-related intent ran to over 1,000 chats, 19.2% of everything. Nearly one chat in five is about the promotion.
The recorded objection is the expensive part: the agent could not always verify discounts or bundle value without a specific product selected first. A shopper asking a general offer question and receiving a general answer is a basket that does not get built.
Two other patterns are worth naming. Shoppers repeatedly asked the agent to summarise a product based on its reviews: a genuine, under-served buying behaviour. And trust questions kept surfacing around "100% natural" and organic claims, in English and in Hindi, which is what happens in a category with no visible certification on the site.
There was also a hard commercial blocker in the data: international shoppers, specifically in Canada, could not complete checkout because an Indian phone number was required.
- “Are there any offers, discounts, or bundle deals available right now?”
- “Tell me more about Kumkumadi Tailam 100ml based on reviews”
- “Tell me more about Onion Hair Oil based on reviews”
- Unable to verify discounts or bundle value without a specific product selected first
- Checkout blocked for international orders requiring an Indian phone number
- Uncertainty about "100% natural" and organic claims, asked in English and Hindi
Solution: match the concern, then answer the offer with a number
The Website Agent and WhatsApp AI went live together on 24 July 2026 (no phased rollout) trained on the kumkumadi range, the concern-led collections, the ingredient claims, and the live offer structure.
The offer knowledge is the operative part. AI Sales Chat knows exactly what the current promotion is, which products qualify, and what adding a second item does to the total, and it can generate a real Shopify discount code inside the chat rather than pointing at a banner.
Product routing follows the brand's own concern structure: kumkumadi oil for brightening, scalp relief oil for irritation, kumkumadi night cream for overnight repair. Those, plus the rosemary hair oil and kumkumadi face wash, were the most-discussed products on all 46 days of the window.
The Nudge Engine covers the shopper who has one item in the basket and does not know a bundle exists.
Strategy: how Auravedic runs it now
The fastest ramp of the fifteen brands here here, that revenue share, inside the first 46 days live.
Launch both channels at once. Auravedic reached full chat volume inside its first month, with the Website Agent and WhatsApp AI going live together. There was no pilot channel and no phased rollout.
Answer the offer question with a specific. over 1,000 chats were about offers. The recorded failure mode is the agent unable to verify a discount without a product selected. On a value-led catalog, the promotion is the mechanism that turns one item into two, so a vague answer is a lost basket, not a deferred one.
Let the agent read the reviews back. Two of the four most-common questions in the account were requests to summarise a product based on its reviews. Shoppers want the social proof digested, not linked. That is a capability worth leaning into rather than treating as an edge case.

Steal this playbook
- 01
Teach the agent the current promotion, precisely
Nearly one chat in five was about offers. "Yes, we have offers" loses the basket.
- 02
On a value-led catalog, the agent's job is the second item
Single-item orders barely pay for themselves.
- 03
Let the agent summarise reviews
Shoppers asked for it unprompted, twice over in the top four questions.
- 04
Launch channels together
Auravedic reached full volume in its first month with no phased rollout.
- 05
Fix the international checkout blocker
Canadian shoppers could not complete an order because an Indian phone number was required. That is revenue sitting behind a form field.
